Lake Anna Overnight Trip Planned
On Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th, the Hebron Youth plan to visit Lake Anna for food, water fun and fellowship! Youth age eleven and up are invited to spend Friday night at Christopher Run Campground near Louisa in Mike and Robin Ruleman's trailer. We also have access to the trailer directly next door courtesy of David Moore and Dominos. Friday, we plan to stop for dinner on the way and spend the evening watching videos, eating snacks and enjoying Christian fellowship. Saturday morning, youth and adults of all ages are invited to join us for a day of boating, tubing, swimming, eating and having a good time. Please see Robin/Mike Ruleman or Theresa/David Moore for more information. Several adult chaperones may be needed for Friday night.

Exciting Vacation Bible School News
Hebron's Vacation Bible School will be held Sunday through Thursday, July 27-31, at Christ Lutheran Church on N. Augusta Street in Staunton , concluding with a picnic for all participants on Friday, Aug. 1. The Sunday thru Thursday program will be from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m., beginning with a meal for everyone participating. The VBS program will be conducted jointly by Hebron Presbyterian, Christ Lutheran and the Staunton Church of the Brethren. The program will be Group Publishing’s “Power Lab,” which is the same program our Christian Education Committee had planned to use at Hebron. It was decided to join the cooperative VBS program to enable the three churches to lower expenses, promote Christian fellowship, and provide a better Bible School experience for our children, since many of the attendees go to all three churches’ programs. This will also allow all volunteers to share the workload more evenly. Each church will pay a proportionate fee for each youth attendee, which will be determined later. It is our hope that next year Hebron might host this cooperative event. Save these dates, and look for more information in weeks ahead!
